People with strong cognitive abilities often find it extra difficult to get a clear picture of their preferred future path. They struggle with selecting their ‘best’ option. Do you follow the trail set out by your parents or teachers? Do you choose the road leading to the highest peak? Do you simply go where the tailwind brings you? Or do you focus on what gives you energy and allows you to be yourself? And how do determine what that is?

After years of working in an academic context and intensively delving into the theme of giftedness, I am more than ever convinced of the importance of self-insight. I will challenge you to reflect critically on yourself, in order to gain a better view on your motives, sources of energy, strengths and ambitions.
